PS3 HDD formating –
I don't know if this is the right place to ask so if its not, mods please move.
OK. Just tossing a few ideas around. 1) Is it possible to format an external with the external hooked up to the internal bay? I see you can buy sata cables with a male and and the other end with a female connector. Say you did this and powered the external up. Could you then go into settings and format? If you can, could you now delete everything and make a folder called GAMES,put the external back into original case. Put original hdd in. Then plug external into usb and have a Game manager like multiman pick it up and run 4g+ files?
Or 2) is there anyone working on getting the "propritary file system" that sony uses to format externals?
I tried googling and came up with nothing. Maybe not wording it right. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be great. Thanks
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end
