If that did work, and i'm not saying it won't, i'd think you would have a horrible experience because of drive speed. I'm not sure about the rpm on the hdd but i assume you would have a choppy/laggy experience... if possible
I have an ipod and a ps3, but i dont wanna break anything today
But just to give an educated guess, I would say NO this won't work
EDIT: from the little info I got, the drive spins at 4200 RPM
