Guyz ,all of us knows that PS3 BD rips are very very big in size,so to save hdd space start ripping your games,and post your results here.
reason -dummyfiles, uncompressed videos and audios, multiple language files,demos,trailers,etc

GOD OF WAR III
ID- BCES00510
original size- 41GB approx
Ripped size- 21GB approx
ripped files-FW UPDATE- approx 250mb
VIDEO-all BONUS videos and audios ,files starting with BONUS*,
LANGUAGE- *.psarc files with different languages(keeping english)
Effect after ripping- No effect on actual Game,black screen on bonus contents

PLEASE DONT POST ANY REPLY BEFORE TESTING AND PLAYING THE FULL GAME."WE" WANT PERFECT RIPS,
"WE" MEANS WE THE COMMUNITY :)

original size- 8GB (7377 files)approx
Ripped size- 6.5GB (2650 files)approx
ripped files-FW UPDATE- approx 250mb
VIDEO-removed all cradits videos with other then en-us language ,
LANGUAGE- deleted all other language folders in "voiceover" directory (keeping english)
Effect after ripping- No effect on actual Game,fully tested

The FW update can be ripped from all games saving a healthy amount of space in the process.

original size- 5.5GB (7750 files)approx
Ripped size- 5.13GB (4018 files)approx 3700files ripped ,result=less files,fast transfer
ripped files-FW UPDATE- approx 250mb
LANGUAGE- deleted all other language folders in "streams" directory (keeping english)
Effect after ripping- No effect on actual Game,fully tested

Good work.. reminds me of ps2 game shrinking using 3-4 tools, i could barely remember their names too...Well, i will test for other ps3 games as well.

I haven't played GOD OF WAR III yet, but what are the BONUS content exactly?
