PS3 Full Brick Fix ? –
04-08-2012,07:49 AM
Hello,
I have a ps3 that doesn't boot.
It doesn't blink the HDD light, Also no Wi-Fi
It doesn't look for USB, no controller charging, no usb light.
And it gives me a black screen.
So nothing at all, Black screen, NO RECOVERY MENU, No USB, no blinking lights, Blu-Ray drive works, ejects disks
About the no recovery menu, i do it like i'm supposed to but it just doesn't blink twice.
Another thing, i first tried it with the e3 uninstalled and now with the e3 installed and hooked up to SATA.
The e3 flasher blinks ?? so it makes contact ( ofcourse ) but that means i can do things with it.
What do i do ?
if have : a e3 flasher
a usb dongle
an HDD drive reader
a second ps3 with YLOD which has been reballed but no fix, i think the problem lies somewhere else.
The cause is that i did a restore process with my other ps3 ( which now has YLOD ) and now it won't boot.
thanks

it happened when i finished the restore process, i turned the ps3 off and then it didn't boot again.
Is there a way to solder the e3 flasher limited ( Tristate to SBE wire ) to flash ANY bios, because i have a bios from an other ps3 with same fw.
tnx

you need a full 100% legit verified dump (remember on wiki where it said to be sure you had a verified dump? well this is why) and the dump needs to be from said bricked console. a dump from another console wont work. dont try it. flash the original dump back to the console then all should be good

But i don't know the process of flashing... Sorry

without a dump from YOUR console, you are bricked. sell it for parts.

Upload your backup and post the link here . If it's ok you will unbrick
