    Hey guys,

I have my PS3 with kmeau CFW 3.55 and whenever I attempt to FTP data to it from Ubuntu 10.04 the transfers jitter... copying partly, then pausing, then party copying more data... it usually lasts a couple 3mb files then it dies completely and the FTP server crashes because I cannot connect again until I restart the FTP server. I've tried FTPing with multiman and blackboxftp.

Has anyone experienced any similar issues?

What FTP client and FTP server are you using? I recommend using blackb0x ftp server and filezilla

Blackbox & filezilla is what I'm using. I've honestly tried all kinds of ftp clients and both blackbox & multiman for ftp servers

Check your router. If it's wireless, speeds from slowest to fastest go from a<b<g<n

I'm a network/system administrator. It's not my router, I don't use that wireless junk anyways. No packets drop. The FTP server crashes when I copy to it. It's something to do with my PS3, or something my linux box is doing to trigger the crash, but I'm not sure what.
