Ps3 firmware 2.45 ..Is other os worth it?

I just bought a ps3 with 2.45 firmware. Is Other Os worht not upgrading to 3.41?

I personally LOVE Linux. If you don't, then update.

You could also update to 3.15 and keep your OtherOS. You could wait it out and hope they realease a payload for 3.15 soon.

It's up to you. If you aren't going to use it, dump it. I wish I had the option.

RichDevX said he would have a payload that will work on firmwares 2.0 and up. I would just go to 3.15, for updated compatibility with more games. Plus, he hasn't released, so you're stuck waiting unless you go to 3.41.
