ps3 file

im chipping my ps3 using the dummies guide
all going ok and than it says to download this
file stealth version for Kmeaw Custom Firmware ps3
im on 3.55 just want to make sure i get the right
file

i cannot find that file dont wont to get the wrong one

You don't need it. Just install kmeaw and be on your way.

please help i cannot install kmeaw iv got the gaia manager on
iv renamed the file to
CFWkmeaw.PUP
iv put it on the root of my stick and i tried to put it in a folder called ps3 update
gone to system update but does not find anything please help

sorry iv got in a mess i renamed the file to
ps3update.pup but when i try and load it in
to my ps3 it cannot find the file
now on the tut it does say i have a folder called
app home/ps3_game which i have does this mean i loaded it in

i dont realy understand u mate u must rename the cfwkmeaw.pup to PS3UPDAT.pup
then u must create a map with the name PS3 on ur root of usb the in that map create the map UPDATE in the map update u must put the PS3UPDAT.pup in
plug the usb in ur ps3 and update thats it enjoy

make sure it shows like PS3UPDAT.PUP and not PS3UPDAT.PUP.PUP

This could happpen only if user have in Windows checked option "hide extension for known file types" but i don't think so *.pup is associate to any of his apps if he didn't this yourself.
