PS3 fat and slim downgrading

I have two PS3 consoles they were on MFW 3.55, I bought a new Mortal combat BD and played it on these two consoles, it works fine for me. But I think that BD of Mortal combat had updated my system fw somehow into 3.56. I could not rememeber what had happened only I rememeber that PS3 tell me that is my fw is old to run mortal combat.

so after backing up Mortal Combat to an external HDD I enter inside its folder and remove update.pup file then I run it smoothly on other jailbroken consoles (after installing its patch).

note: the BD of the game had inserted into the two ps3 consoles fat and slim

my problem:

I tried to downgrade these two consoles (fat and slim), I started with slim one I have done all of steps of downgrading 3.55 FW as it in this form using ps3break dongle.
I go to the service mode successfully then when I insert usb flash into the most right port containing file 1 + modified 3.41 fw the ps3 did not want to downgrade it still running for about 15 min without any HDD activity so I turned it off.
So I think that the cause is slim one could not be downgraded I change the console to Fat ps3 and done all of the above again the fat ps3 could not be downgraded

after that two problems arised for each of my two ps3 consoles
1- when I power on the slim one, it gives no signal to the screen (black screen) and after 2 sec it turned off automatically. I tried to return into service mode but I cant as the led of ps3break dongle did not operate (so it could not receive a dongle).!!!! when I connect a usb flash containing file 2 (to get out of service mode) nothing happened

2- when I power on the fat ps3 it works for only 10-15 sen and beeps 2-3 time then it power itself off (the red led is blinking after the ps3 powering itself off) when I hit power button the blinking red led stopped. also I tried to return into service mode but I cant as ps3break dongle operate (but a blck screen is recived).!!!! when I connect a usb flash containing file 2 (to get out of service mode) nothing happened

Please is there any idea about this two problems?

I wounder and I am afraid the mortal combat DB had updated my two ps3 into 3.56 ? can this happened ? if this happened why I got only black screen instead of death red screen or instead of stucking in service mode ?

Sorry to tell you but it looks like your stuck in service mode and till someone finds a way out of service mode on 3.56+ firmware your ****ed

Maybe when we find out how the QA flags work and use it maybe we can find a way out of service mode or you can call sony tell them that you got a ps3 on ebay or something and its on service mode.

any new ideas please?

The only way to downgrade as of right now is not for the weak of heart and can potentially cause a brick. As of right now, infectus is the only way but if it truly updated, who knows when a enduser friendly downgrade will be released.

My heart is very strong and I can sacrefice my ps3 to get more knowledge and experience, can you please tell me how infectus works, any links or posts about this method
with slim or fat one should I start using infectus method

http://psx-scene.com/forums/f149/cec...nfectus-88023/ (CECHA01 + Infectus) but as they state, you're gonna have to wait for someone to either post their NAND dump or use if someone else you know has a working ps3 that wouldn't mind you experimenting, then you can get their NAND dump. This is for the ps3 phat though.

Actually, you don't need someone else's NAND dump anymore, just a firmware PUP, so you're good to go if you want that Infectus 2
