PS3 FAT (40GB) with CFW Waninkoko v2 or Kmeaw not running games
PS3 FAT (40GB) with CFW Waninkoko v2 or Kmeaw not running games –
I did successfully load the Waninkoko v2 CFW on my friend's PS3 Slim CECH2004B by upgrading it from OFW 3.15. Installed multiMAN 1.15.02 and copied all the games to /dev_hdd0/Games/Game_Name. Using multiMAN all the games so far have been running fine.
I tried the same Waninkoko v2 CFW on my PS3 FAT (40 GB upgraded to 250GB) CECHH00 . The firmware was updated correctly from original firmware 3.41. Again I followed the same procedure of installing multiMAN 1.15.02 and copying all the games to /dev_hdd0/Games/Game_Name.
To my disappointment till now, none of the games are working on PS3 FAT CECHH00. I have all the original Eboot/Param files in all games folders and I am trying to run with/without an original blu-ray game disk. Whenever I start a game, either system hangs with a black screen or returns to the main XMB menu after a while.
I then did try via recovery menu trying to load the Kmeaw CFW . Everytime before running I ran the "fix permissions" and "lv2_patcher", but in Kmeaw by running multiMAN , it sometimes updates the blu-ray disk icon with the loaded game and sometimes it does not. Either ways none of the game are working in Kmeaw as well and return to XMB or show a 8001009 error when loaded.
All of the same games are working on PS3 Slim CECH2004B.
Is there any help available for me to run the games.
Thanks for your support.
I am having the same issues with an 80GB FAT.
I installed kmeaw and the install went fine. I then installed lv2-v9.pkg and mulitman 1.15.
I run lv2 and then multiman. When I try to start any games from the internal drive it either black screens, exits back to xmb, or gives me the same error code as you.
These are all newly copied games without modified eboots or param.sfo files.
So you're not the only one with this problem.
try it with a game in the drive, thats what I had to do
Well, had either of you read the instructions w/ MultiMan, you'd know that 1. you don't need the lv2.pkg file anymore, and 2. you need to turn on the resident payload. Have you even taken further steps for t-shooting and tried another manager?
