PS3 EmulatorX for pc?

Hello guys, long time reader, but first time poster.

I used to own a ps3 but sold it. However, I was very disappointed at myself for not playing uncharted 3 before I sold it..

However, I happened to run into the uncharted3 game for 10 dollars at sony, and I ordered it, and got to thinking that maybe there might be a emulator for ps3 that will work in the pc?

I was surfing around and happened to run into this program: (emulatorX), and everything looked legit, and also with facebook likes, youtube videos, etc, as well as blog posts from other sites linking to that site. (Couldn't link the actual website)

However, I knew that just like the scams involving the jailbreak for 3.66+ that was there since a while back, I am thinking that this might also be a scam.

Therefore I would like to ask- is this software for real or a scam?

Also, if it is a scam, do you know if there are any reliable ps3 emulators out there(if at all)?

I know this isn't a "jailbreak" topic, but I know that psxscene always brings the legitimate information involving ps3 development, and wanted to get some help.

no there aren't any ps3 emulators out there(the only thing even close is a ps3 homebrew emulator,but it still is pretty beta from what i remember)

Current PCs can barely run current PS2 emulators at a decent speed for most games. Since the PS3 is way more powerful I doubt that we will see a PS3 emulator that can run a retail PS3 game anytime soon.

Give it about 15 years and you'll be able to play SOME PS3 games on a emulator for the PC with lag and graphics artifacts.
