PS3 CFW 4.00 Online

Hey all, just bought a PS3 with Firmware 3.56 on it. I want to jailbreak it just like all my other systems, but I have a few questions that have been answered before and some possible new ones I just want complete verification on because I read different things online. First, on this site it says you can play your jailbroken PS3 online, but elsewhere a lot of people say you can’t. Can I play online or not and will I get banned if I use a real copy of an online game on a jailbroken PS3? And will I get banned if I use a backup of a PS3 game online? Second, I read that even if you don’t play online you can still get banned, is this true? Third, If I jailbreak my PS3 can I just factory reset it to get rid of the jailbreak and CFW. Fourth, I read that you need to re-jailbreak the PS3 every time you start the PS3, is this true? And if this is true if you do not re-jailbreak it can I get banned even if it is not jailbroken? And if anyone knows how to keep up to date with jailbroken PS3 information please let me know. The reason I ask so many firmware questions is because my PSP is CFW and I have never had a problem with it ever, but I do not want to jailbreak my PS3, not be able to un-jailbreak it and immediately get banned from PSN. well your first problem is that you can't even jailbreak it cause you need fw 3.55 or 3.41 and i think you need to buy a device to downgrade your firmware which is a pain in the ass from what i can tell ( opening up your ps3) and about the online thing, you cannot go on psn with a jailbroken ps3, which means you can't play the muti-player part of the game, only offline/story mode. But you can still use the internet brower. So, you can basically wait untill a new cfw comes out which supports fw 4.00 + or buy proskeet or w/e its called.

Edit: Also, you can't get ban unless you go on psn with a jailbroken ps3 and it won't happen untill cfw 4.00 + is even release. and l'm not 100% sure you're going to get ban if you go on psn with a hacked ps3, there were some reports before that people were getting ban but it's not 100%. AND you only need to jailbreak your ps3 once, after that your good. However, for me atleast with my 3.41 cfw ps3, whenever i turn on my ps3 i just need to run 1 program(name"hermesV4 or something like that"which enables ps3 backup games to work) first which takes like 3 seconds, after that all my ps3 games will work.

Np, and well the websites that i use to keep up to date with cfw would be this site and "ps3 dash hack" or "ps3 news" type either of those on google, should be the first result you see.

this site that explains the CFW 4.00 for the PS3 helps a lot, but this does not mention any specs of the CFW. I really hope 4.00 will let us go on PSN

There is NO CFW for the PS3 @ FIRMWARE 4.00 at the moment. Please do a little search before making a useless thread.

For your information Titan I did search and found informational on it that's why I tried to post a link to get some verification. I thought I would ask some simple questions here because I am new to PS3 jailbreaking. This isn't a useless thread and you don't have to be so rude.
