PS3 Break V1.1

I just ordered the PS3 break V1.1 which is said to be upgradeable....???? Has anyone received it yet??? Version 1.1 if so what chipset is it? Any pics would be appreciated of the board. I will post info when mine arrives from HK.

I just received my 1.1 today and its just a fckin usb stick, I took off the covering and it still has the PIC

I purchased 2 PS3 break v1.0. I ended up with the PIC chip. The place I bought it from and the manufacture, and paypal wont do anything for me!!

i have the ps3break v1.0, iv been trying to upgrade it but when i push the upgrade button it makes the connection noise on the pc but it doesnt register with the PS3break_v1.1.exe software. I have installed the other software packages that came with it to make the PS3break software open on my pc. Anyone got a solution

PS3break_v1.1.exe is intended only for PS3break 1.1, you should use the burner that is in the PS3break V1.0(Burner Area) section on their site, if your 1.0 is upgradable that is.

Is it easy to disassemble, the cover isn't glued no? And is the PIC really not upgradable without additional accessories? But then again, perhaps you've got a fake...

My 1.1 isn't recognized when I just insert it in PC, no "usb hub" but "unknown device" if I recall correctly, is it a good sign or not?

For the people like me who have PS3Break 1.0(small one), you have to use the 1.0 software(Flip I believe) and the 1.1a or 1.2a hex files. these are for the Atmel chip.
PS3Break version 1.1 is still using a PIC chip but has a bootloader included I believe. that´s why you use the 1.1 version software to upgrade. you also need a different hex file (1.1b or 1.2b) then the original 1.0 ps3break because it is now using a PIC chip.
Ps3Break caused quite a bit of confusion with this by using 2 different chips and didn´t explian very clearly the reason for the differences and of course they forgot to include a bootloader on the PS3break 1.0 with the PIC chip.
Hope that helped to clear up some of the confusion.

Oh, it makes sense. So actually even if it's PIC it doesn't mean it's not upgradable.

So, sik l3gend you may try to actually update it first before calling names.
