PS3 4.31 OFW - wanting to jailbreak

Hi guys, new to this modding stuff.

I got bought a new super slim PS3 for xmas and updated it to the 4.31 OFW.

I've come across the game .pkg files now and was wondering how to install these? Do I HAVE to jailbreak my playstation to play these or is there another way I can do this? I did see about the L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + R3 + down on dpad on the Network Settings option to show the Install Package Files option (not been able to try this yet) but not sure if this will work for installing game .pkg files???

Is there anyway I can hack my ps3 to do this? I've tried the 'drag to usb and load on ps3' but I can't seem to find where to open up the installer to do so...

the new super slim is unable to be jailbroken at this tie and ay never be able to so no you are out of luck

That's rubbish. Don't really want to have to pay for PSX games I was playing about 12 years ago lol.

Look into the Cobra Original Drive Emulator (ODE). It will work on the Super Slim when it is released. You may have to do some minor soldering though.

Just now bought ps3 super slim500gb cech-4008c ver 4.31 . I suggest you to purchase games from eBay it's really cheap

( until proper CFW release )
