PS3 3.56 JFW help

ok guys I am new here and I have followed the ps3 scene for a while but I actually need help

I was on my rebug 3.55 ps3 slim but I upgraded to 3.56 JFW and I loved it so I decided to use the universal MAD downgrader

reason for downgrade: to play psx backups from multiman

3.56 JFW didn't support the latest multiman so I used the the old version that didn't support native psx backups

thing is while I was restoring the R flash back to the ps3 I had a power cut and now everytime I boot the slim it says the firmware can't be run and that I need to upgrade to 3.56 or greater

my question is is there is a software downgrade from 3.56 to 3.55?

I also have a 60GB model on 4.11 kiosk the slim is the 120 GB model released in 2009 not sony's newer model thats meant to be "unjailbreak-able"

If you made a backup of your nor flash when you was in 3.55, just reflash it with jaicrab advance preloader 3.1, it works on 3.56 JFW.

If you didn't, you can just follow the same tut for downgrading from 4.21 to 3.55, even without a hardware flasher.
IN your case, you can use jaicrab advance preloader as a flasher.

edit: an other idea easier, you can find the 3.41 pup used for downgrading from 3.55 to 3.41 in service mode.
This 3.41 was edited to be like a 3.56, so you can reintall it from your 3.56JFW.

Don't do the whole process, just try to install this firmware in the recovery mode.
If it doesn't work you have to use jaicrab preloader.

thanks, but to ask an you link me to this thread? I don't have any form of hardware flasher(s) so I have to be extra careful also do I upgrade to 3.56 before following the tutorial?

just to tell you I think its stuck on 3.55 with nothing, it can't run the firmware so would I upgrade to 3.56 then downgrade with the tutorial using jaicrab?

p.s. I might have a backup of 3.56 that was made idk but link me to the tutorial

Don't upgrade to 3.56 OFW, there is no way to downgrade without a hardware flasher.
Please, try first what i said in the edit2, try to install this 3.41 modified, it could work and it would be a lot easier.

a little edit, the file was put on deposit files and when I tried to access it I got the error message saying that the file has been removed due to copyright infringement

alright, ive installed it and went right to 3.55 rebug after installing the 3.41 now ive got my ps2 games playing yay thanks
