ps3 3.55 + NAS setup advice
ps3 3.55 + NAS setup advice –

just got a ps3 3.55 jailbroken. i also have a mac mini, and 6TB WD my book world II Network Attached Storage device which i use to store all my media etc...
i'd like to find a way to store cracked ps3 games on the NAS device and play them on the ps3. the only problem is that most of the tutorials are for USB external HD's and the NAS connects into the router via an ethernet cable.
can i play games off the NAS drive?
what if i connected the ps3 to the mac mini via USB cable (mini streams data from NAS to PS3)??
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,

I dont think emulators for the ps3 support nas yet so nas for games is not possible and probably never will be.

I think you're going through too many layers. I dont think loaders support SMB or whatever Mac equivalent sharing protocol on loading games.
On the side of the Mac, unless it is solely a hard drive that method wouldn't work. I also strongly suspect that the Mac Mini is formatted in HFS or its derivatives. So thats another hoop to jump through
Easiest method is getting a cheapo WD USB 2.5 External drive. They're like $50 and work pretty solid.
