PS2 ESR

Ok well, Had an iso, patched it perfectly (computer pictured it as a dvd movie not a ps2 game) have fmcb perfect on MC) Have ESR patcher installed. I still get the unknown media type? I even made sure that I selected a button to automatically run ESR (select) and no rainbow color to confirm it works. Also, this is GTA its not a cd-r based PS2 game. I am soooo close I can smell it. Whats wrong?

Try using the esr version with a gui, then put in the disc and see if it still says it. If it's still saying unknown media then you either have a bad burn (happened to me a few times), your laser is going out or it's just a poorly made disc.
