I've got bad news for you. Had the same issue (no signal after launching any ps2classic), just as many other people (even on OFW, it's not CFW related). I've spent half a day on it, but wasn't able to get it to work. The only solution that finally worked was a little bit extreme - I had to backup my saves, format the hdd and restore the settings to defaults, then setup everything again and restore the saves (you could also backup or synchronize trophies - I don't care about trophies). Now everything works fine. It might be some kind of error in xregistry. It worked only after I had formatted the hdd to delete all user accounts and settings and then have set everything up again. It seems it has nothing to do with video settings (it's not only about "no signal" message - the console simply freezes).
