Does this mean code could be written for playing games like GTA IV online?
For example having all vehicles available on free mode and things like that.
Sorry for asking but haven't found anything that answers the question.
Many thanks

The PS Jailbreak itself has nothing to do with such cheat codes.
It is not a cheat engine, but a system hardware tool that unlocks the ability to run other software tools, which was impossible without such unlocking.
Eventually such new software tools created by homebrewers may come to include a cheat engine, and at such a time it may become possible for fanatics of a game to analyze it well enough to discover cheat codes that do what you want. But at present this is not yet possible. No one has had time to develop such homebrew tools as yet.
The only available software tools that may be used thanks to PS Jailbreak, have the single purpose of letting games be run from HDD instead of running them from the Blueray drive.

yes i believe so, but only if someone can create it
here why i think it is possible
There is a game called resistance fall of man 2, the gamesave is unhackable for trophies, but when you use it on a dev kit the save works and trophies pop up. now since it was able to work in dev code it was able to run the random coding that always happens when you put it on another PS3. I beleive with a homebrew device they might be able to get cheats and such, so example FF13 lets you copy over but you can't use that save to gain trophies or anything, but if you can copy these coding to another save and run it in dev kit (say save for 100% complete or nearly) you might be able to get it to work. It isn't exactly the same cheating as you would think but it might due, plus i think we might be able to get locked saves unlocked with PSJailbreak homebrews. So even though it might not be what you are expecting it still can provide cheats. And lets not forget about MW2 hacks and such, PS Jailbreak might make things easier.
i believe that they have reported a list of homebrew from a dev kit ready to be ported over using PSJailbreak so who knows what homebrew they made
I also have a newbie question:
is it possible to store some games with PS Jailbreak to a PS3 HDD
and then transfer that HDD to another PS3 without loosing anything?
By the way, are there some good RPG's for the PS3 which make it reasonable
to buy one?
@TrickZter
thanks for the info.
About the Final fantasy for PS3, i know that there was one and i searched
lately for some other RPG's on the PS3, but there are not that many.
I just wanted some info from old PS2 RPG players if they think it is
worth to buy a PS3 only for their RPG's or not.
Maybe i should buy one only for Final Fantasy.....![]()
For RPG's not much of a sellection yet here is link to most RPG's
and this is one of the reason's I have not got PS3 yet.
