Just got home from my son's cricket game to find out that my daughter has updated the PS3 to 3.42 FW

I see that PS Jailbreak has announced that they can downgrade the FW.

Can anyone help me fix what my daughter has done?

She updated using a Sims 3 disc.

I have removed the hard drive and formatted it fat32.
Reinstalled the HD but it asking for the 3.42 FW update to run.

And it will till you buy a PSJB dongle and then pay the $40 for the downgrade option. Supposedly it will be ready in 72hrs. I'd suggest if you go this route and get back onto 3.41, to install a payload from this thread http://psx-scene.com/forums/f6/psn-o...ied-hexs-70327 so it doesn't happen again.
