Problems Compiling Hermes v3 Payload
Problems Compiling Hermes v3 Payload –
Could someone help me set up my environment for compiling hermes payload. I have compiled the original PSGroove source code and openmanager so that gives you an idea of how I have got things set up right now. I just can't compile Hermes's. I know it has something to do with the ps3 toolchain, homebrew that was released, I just cant get it to run when I do ./toolchain.sh. I have installed WinAVR, MinGW, Msys, and a FULL install of Cygwin. Could someone give me some direction? I have been researching hard for 2 days now trying to get this to compile. I need some insight from someone who had successfully compiled this source. Please, I really need some help. Please don't ignore this post. If there is information existing please give me a link. I know I can get this working, I just need some guidance from a veteran. If you need additional info I will be happy to provide it.
I would like to see a compiling guide for this also.
Google evilsperm Ubuntu virtualbox and goto the forum thread where he's talking about the release of it. There will be a link to 2 different .torrent files in the thread. One with the SDK already set up, one without. Get the one with the SDK already set up and setup virtualbox with the image. Use that for your compiling environment instead of windows. Much more compliant.
