    Hello,

I attempted to use Free BSD's ftp executable (alright.. you got me... OSX), and can not seem to put any files, it tells me that it does not have write capability (even in /dev_hdd0/game/ROMS).

I tried using CyberDuck as well, with no luck even enumerating the directory trees.

    What could be the problem?

    Thanks,

    Matt

All the current PS3 FTP server/client stuff is quite buggy and can be quite frustrating but if you're on a mac (as your post suggests), I would not go past 'Transit'. Out of all that's out there Cyberduck included, that is the only one that works for me. Also check your cable, in my experience changing to another netowork cable fixed a connection problem.

    Thanks.

That's too bad it's so buggy. Pretty useless as of right now. I read that (both) of the FTP servers depend on Sony's APIs. Maybe once the open source framework is released, it will provide better classes to interface with the network layer.

    Thanks,

    Matt

I began using multi-man, which has an ftp server. This works without issue with Cyberduck and ftp.

Mind telling me your average speed? I'm doing a personal test and so far blackbox is in the lead.

I can't even upload with blackb0x. That's my problem! I'm guessing you figured out how. How?

Regardless, I use Wifi, which is sort of doody in itself... 480kbps.

    It's taking ~5 hours to upload ~7.5GB.

I have a similar issue, I can create folders manually, I can upload files but I can't get it to auto create folders if I upload one.

    Odd

Gonna try ftping direct from command prompt.
