I wonder if it's possible to sign the OPL ELF the same way we did for homebrew and games eboot.bin > eboot.elf. If any self could be decrypted and signed then i don't know why it's not possible to trick the ps3 to load this loader like any other one...?
    Backward compatible only !
Someone could confirm my theory ?

    Thanks

I believe PS2 & and PS3 run in 2 different languages so to speak as the GameOS exits to play PS2 games then reloads after

yeah sure i'am talking about backward compatible console only of course

The fact is i'am sure that is possible since we can load this 'opl.elf' from swapmagic

other elf like any homebrew ELF Launching app like Free McBoot or uLaunchELF could load OPS2LD.ELF but need to be signed too

I have a theory. If we can find out which file (elf in dev_flash?) is launched when playing the PS2 game, we may be able to replace it with the OPL.elf so that it launches that instead of the PS2 mode. Not sure how we would go about this, but I do remember this is how we did things in the early xbox1 days.
