    I've purchased this:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I was wondering if you could have 2 "internal" drives, one to work with PSGroove and one without it (the original that came with the console for example)

When PSGroove will work with 3.50 or whatever there is, you can plug your original HDD and connect to PSN and play online without problems, or is there something in the console that Sony can detect?

Honestly, I'm not sure on this, but I doubt it for 2 reasons.

    1. Dunno if the PS3 can even hold 2 drives

    2. If it can, it prolly won't matter as firmware info is not stored on the internal HDD.

I'm not sure about it tho. Those are just my thoughts.

to me a jailbroken PS3 is like a one way ticket... you can't straddle the fence with it.

if you look at the history of consoles such as xbox360... the developers can easily detect the use of any hacks no matter how sneaky you are.... or how well you "think" you're cleaning up your tracks...

if you make the decision to use a jailbreak you should never EVER expect to go online again ...

I'm not saying to put 2 drives, just change between PSGroove and Original.

I know, 2 PS3 but right now I don't have the money. Anyway, there's no exploit for 3.50 so it's just thoughts...

Yea, some-kind of hard drive swapping, one jailbroken and the other with latest firmware, etc... but as the firmware is not stored on HD, I do not see this happening.

I have a foolproof way to get online with PSN and avoid ANY possible ban.

    Buy a second PS3
Make sure you butter the non reflective side of your CD's / DVD's and Blu-Rays so that when you drop them, they land butter side down thus preventing scratches.
