inb4 generic comment on how homebrew is an advancement.

Right now JFW is making MAJOR progress and they're almost done.

Progskeet has already made their project and are simply making it solderless.

Cobra USB is only for PS2 backups except so far no one has been able to hack it so that shows the team cobra probably knows ALOT about the PS3.

any devs (geohot, KaKaroto, Graf_chokolo, Matthieluh) that were smart have all been sued by sony or have decided to leave the scene before they do and all we have now is a bunch of morons sharing "theories" and complaining about how they left the scene. (not sharing names) Honestly though you can't blame them because would you seriously lose money and possibly go to jail over a bunch of 13 year olds wanting to play call of duty online with "133T H4X"?

Rumor has it Team Cobra will be announcing 3.60 game compatability soon.

haha, i remember the first (or maybe the third since it needed an eboot patch which I've found a bit later) day my PS3 was jailbroken, MW2 in, getting annihlated by a hackers/cheaters, next lobby, 2 cheaters, next lobby, cheater,... and so on
it was almost unplayable

to Cobra, I don't know but I don't trust them since jaicrab came and said something about them (I can't remember what exactly but it sounded bad)

Hey, don't forget about GITBREW. They were the ones that brought us the OTHEROS++ , and QA package file for easy installation. As well Team Rebug. Those guys are simply amazing.

gitbrew seems to be out. They are upset that some of their exploit work has been leaked. Going to stick with advancing linux.

What Jaicrab said is basically that Cobra dongle is based on PSGroove and he was mad cause they were "selling the sceners knowledge". Except people who buy cobra buy it for its unique features, not PSGroove lol.

BS. If that was true they would have said it on their website. They started hyping up 3.55 support for their dongle months before they released cobra cfw.

Apparently that info was from a leaked private email that has been sent to Administrators of ps3 scene sites. Probably still BS, but that is how the rumor got started.
