Hello,
If you don't have the SDK, or don't want to spend time downloading it, I have the VM, so just send me the whole package and I can try to create a PKG file of it.
Kind regards,

Hello,
If you don't have the SDK, or don't want to spend time downloading it, I have the VM, so just send me the whole package and I can try to create a PKG file of it.
Kind regards,
Unless i'm mistaken about what it is your trying to do(ignore this if I am), you dont need to mess with your package file to change your background. You need to install your pkg file, then ftp into the directory it makes in hdd0/game. In there, you will see a few different things. The ones that apply to your situation are ICON0.PNG and PIC1.PNG. ICON0 represents the small image you see in your xmb. PIC1 represents the Large background that fills up the whole screen when you hover over the small icon in your xmb. You can replace these images with your own. The ICON0.PNG cannot be too high of a resolution or it will be corrupt. The perfect size for this image is 320x176, however as long as the dimensions are close to this size it should work(may stretch the image a bit). The PIC1.PNG image can be just about any size, but you should go for the highest resolution possible. You can use regular .jpg files for the ICON0.PNG if you want just rename it to ICON0.PNG and it should work. For the PIC1.PNG, Your probably better off to find the image you want, and run it thru a converter to turn it into a .PNG file. There are online converters to do this for you very fast - just google online .jpg to .png converter. When you replace these images, make sure you rename them exactly the same as they are and make sure they are CAPITALIZED. I hope this helps and wasnt for nothing. One more thing - if there is no PIC1.PNG file, you can add one and it will see it.
Thanks, but....If you look 2 posts above yours you'll see I already figured it out. Must've taken you awhile you type all that out though. Kudos!!
Your welcome. Sorry I didn't get that in quicker lol.
