Did not come across such a situation
what is this shit about disc against finger?.... you dont have to HOLD the edject button, just press it fast O.o
since no one else seem to mention it, but the basic process is this. And it very much is a matter of timing. I believe (based on sound) that when done correctly the disc stays exactly where it is (perhaps it is being released, but not ejected at all). So anyway, heres how I do it.
1. With disc in, start JB process as usual except this time there will be no 3 beeps move your finger and either press once or hold (I hold) the eject.
2. And here is the trick, the entire time you have your finger on the eject, you have your other poised at the power switch (which I think even you slim people should have by now). The MOMENT the blue light to the left of the green one comes on after you press the eject key, kill the power with the switch.
3. JB Process as normal. As I said in the title, not a solution. But may save some wear and tear on at least the eject motors, if not the entire mechanism.
