is it possible to jailbreak a ps3 with another jailbroken ps3

i am going to a friends house to jailbreak his 3.55 firmware, and i was wondering if i could jailbreak my ps3 through his ps3, my ps3 is using 3.72 ofw. thanks

Trade PS3s with him, or switch them without him knowing, and tell him you accidently updated his system to 3.72.

No, really there is nothing you can do besides downgrading, or getting another console.
