Possible Easy Fast Downgrade?

Today I discovered something with the Ps3 OFW 1.00 debug. Im on kmeaw 3.55 firmware and I thought I'd give it a shot to see if my PS3 would let me install the 1.00 Debug and suprisingly it did. It showed it as 1.00 and I pressed install and it started but I quickly stopped it because if I brick I currently don't have a USB drive to fix the brick. If someone could test this for me to install the 1.00 firmware and then upgrade to a different firmware that would be great. Here's the link for the 1.00 debug pup. why would you want to go on 1.0?

You don't. You downgrade to 1.0 and then upgrade to what ever firmware you choose.
