i will go and check my firmware if its 4.45 or 6 anything above high can i roll back to 3.55 ? please help
tell me what is the safe way to do thanks
also tell me
1: after its jailbroken if i download games will it ask me to update if so what to do?
You have to downgrade to 3.55 and the only the only way to do it is by using hardware flashers like e3 flasher or progskeet. There is absolutely no way to downgrade using just a .pup file
yep e3 flasher and progskeet is the only way to downgrade from 4.46 to 3.55
but i really i don't recommend jail breaking your FAT console coz they have a high rate of Failure
i recommend selling this and buying a slim 3.55 then install a cfw on it
You are the only person I've ever heard say this about jailbreaking FAT ps3s. Where do you get your information? No one on this site has ever said it -- ever, but you. I have a FAT ps3 on rebug 4.46, and have had it jailbroken from 3.41 dongle days, and use it daily. Perhaps you mean if you try to use a hardware flasher on it (taking it apart, etc) is hard on the unit? Still no one but you seems to think this way. Now all that said, the FATs in general all have a problem with YLOD -- this is completely unrelated to CFW or OFW.

Depending on how old you ps3 is / how often you clean it determines the failure.
If you're looking to go to 3.55, E3 flasher is the way to go. Worked like a charm.
