Please Help me out!! I am have a few questions about Jailbreak 3.55 and NFS HP

Hello everyone, I just joined the forums and i am loving it. I can see how helpful people are in psx scene and just feel great.

Now the problem-- I have downloaded a NFS HP EU ps3 iso file, and I extracted it. I know how to install the geohot jailbreak and have it. Just question is-- I have the folders named PS3_GAME and inside that is all other folders Like USRDIR. Can someone please guide me how to get this game running from the xmb like any others and im going to use comgenie awesome manager. So no ftp or others pls. I am going to use my external hdd, connect it to my ps3, and then copy all of the contents to my internal hdd. So please guide me how to play this game off the hdd and let me know if you have tried it.

Unlike the other topics, they try at least to be on the sly about it. You directly said what you did, which is a little over that gray line. But, according to the admins, as long as warez, etc are not directly linked, we're to take a back seat.

But, to answer the OP's original question, if you downloaded it as a ISO file, then it probably isn't backed up right. When the PS3 backs up a game, it does it in a completely open file structure and doesn't compress it down to ISO format. The games that were distributed as ISO's were the ones from the earlier days when they thought they figured out how to dump them correctly in OtherOS. Obviously, we now know that they weren't dumped correctly, and hence why this game isn't going to work for you.

Edit: Noticed you said NFS:HP. So, nevermind about my comment about earlier days, but I'd still be suspect of a game that's being distributed as a ISO instead of it just as rar'd up files.

there is a full thread about the specific game you are asking about if you dont want to get flamed for asking these sorts of questions in your first few posts i sugget you use the SEARCH function!!!!!!!

if you read a little bit you will understand what you need to do

you have to understand that the members here get tired of answering the same questions 100's of times a day and the forum gets cluttered with threads about the same things

the people on here are here to help and will help but as a NOOB you have to do your bit too by reading up and then thinking do i really need to start a topic about this when all the information is right here already!!

and because im in a good mood and waiting fot GT5 to install you can start by reading this thread
