Please Help me- Bricked ps3 ?

Hello, I today tried to downgrade my ps3 i had the ps3 in recovery mode but then when i try to turn the ps3 on it flashes green for about 10 seconds the ejects then turns off i cannot get the ps3 to stay on long enough to take the files from the usb stick to take it back to normal,

I have tried resetting by holding the power button then again hearing the double beep but it doesnt seem to work.

I have also tried many different lv2diag.self files and none sort out my problem.

Help me please.

Beyond my knowledge, but giving people more info like your PS3 type, firmware version you had installed etc etc, may help?

Never down graded before but unless somethings changes that i missed you can't downgrade from 3.56 if that is what you attempted

I was on firmware 3.55 if that helps i was downgrading to 3.41

did your ps3 come with 3.55 pre installed? because iv just looked at the 3.55 downgrade thread and it says that if it did then it cannot be downgraded and will brick the ps3.

no this is 60gb version when the ps3 first was released

phat 60GB models are known to have issues , whats your consoles serial number ? normaly starts with CECH-
it might be 1 of the 256NAND models which then u fudged.

make sure u have the correct lv2diag file. i have an "E" model so it has the same nand as urs. i upgraded to kmeaw and downgraded back. just read thru the link gezza posted and youll find ur answer. make sure the usb with the lv2diag is in the furthest usb port to the right. that is critical too if i remember correctly
