Hello all!

I have a simple question, i have a playstation 3 (Cech-2003a) with firmware version 4.3. Can i jailbreak it?

You need to downgrade if you are on ofw http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...eck-tool-1238/ use the link to see if you can downgrade anything 3.55 and below you can downgrade

Yeah you can... Either order a e3 flasher or type ps3 downgrade into ebay and send it to someone on there to do it for you.

Hello again! I used your link "nova89" and the MinVerChk showed:

"Update data of version 2.7 or later can be installed on this system." So now i know i can have 3.55 on my playstation.

Now for the downgrade, is the only way to downgrade either to buy a e3 flasher or send it to someone who has a e3 flasher?

My playstations disc reader dosent work so i cant play my games that i have on disc. What i want to do is to put my games on the harddrive or on a usb and play it on the PS3, to do this the only way is first to downgrade to 3.55 and then jailbreak and put CFW right?
