Playstation 3 60GB on fimware 2.16

hey, i've just bought a ps3 60gb and really want to jailbreak it, but now, how do i have to do that,

do i have to update it to 3.55 or can i just flash the cfw right over the 2.16 firmware

or maybe better, can i just flash the rogero cfw right over the orginal 2.16 firmware?

I would to this:

1: Update to 3.55 Official Firmware.
2: Jailbreak by installing Kmeaw 3.55 CFW
3: Install 'QA Toggle' pkg and run/activate it.
4: Update to your choice of 4.xx CFW.

I prefer Rebug simply because I hold the developers in high regard. I've heard that Rogero is good to. You really can't go wrong with either.

and kmeaw i prefur cos it simple and download it off a torrent site torrentz.eu search 3.55 jailbreak its a sweet as cfw i found the kmeaw cfw on psx scene was a bit glitchy sorry psx scene

I went from something like 3.30 to 3.55 rebug, qa flagged, then went to 4.21 rebug. You can probably go straight to 4.21 without problems though. Rebug is practically brick-proof.

Manny thanks for your comments, I think I'm gonna go for ROgero, but first I have to go to the OFW 3.55, can someone give a link to it, or istn't that allowed?

beacause I'm scared for some retarted people who really want to brick others ps3 consoles, and put wrong FW on the internet,

how can I be sure if the FW 3.55 I downloaded is the orginal? Can I do a check on that?
