Playstaion MOVE. The Definitive Dealbreaker...

I was thinking of gettng MOVE for the 'other half' for christmas...... two controlers & already got the PS EYE last year with EYEPET, i guess its not changed?

And some software some software.. Racket Sports, and The Sports game (the one with Archery etc).. i dont see any sign of any dedicated Move titles on the release sites?

I would not be that tight tho'...... need something under the tree, you understand!

And will they have 3.42 on them...... thats the big one, cos i dont want it to kill my PsGroove!

Can anyone confirm that i will still be able to use the PS Groove and all will work just as well as it did before booting these Move titles?

what im going to say might not be 100% accurate but i think its close

if the disks come with an update on and are usable via backup manager u can rip the forced update off the backup copy or replace it with one you already have for example the 3.41 update so you never actually update although this is untested as i have not got any games at the min with a forced 3.42 update on them or i would test this little theory of mine but it sorta makes sense right? you just take the update away from the backup using PS3 FTP or a computer if its on a external HDD. i will test this when i find a game i want that has a required update on the disk

All PS Move Games except the ones on PSN work fine! I've tried them all.

THe PS3 move controller is fully compatible with 3.41, so no problems what so ever there.

The game demos on the disc won't install in debug mode, they do install when you boot as usual though. AFterwards they work fine with debug mode.

However, titles in the future may require new firmware.

Have you tried tiger woods 2011? i tried it but it won't recognize my ps3 move controller.

I have the 320gb bundle and it has 3.40 no updates on any of the games so far I never connected to psn yet

Well, my PS3 is the old Fatty model. Its a UK Launch machine, and has never really played anything much......

DJ Hero last XMAS, and maybe a half doxen Blurays movie have been thru it..........

The hard drive has noothing installed really, i grabbed the duck thing that was free on PSN at launch & deleted it.......

So pretty clean pristine order etc.......

PS Groove....... Coming tommoro or TUES.........

I can live without live or 3d........ but dont want to spoil the use of PS Groove after waiting so long for an exploit.....

As long as JB'ed games wont be affected afterwords and my FW dont go above 3.41 then i'm happy.......

Odd that theres no scene releases f the new Move launch games tho, or have i just not seen them..?

And what is on that disk with the starter pack? Demo's? I already got a PSEYE so dont wanna grab that starter pack, but just wondered if i was missing anything on the disk thats with it..?


Oh, one last thing.......... apart from HONG KONG CUSTOMS................. has anyone got the original PSJAILBREAK?

I can live without demo's.......... they can just clutter up the HD, and installing and stuff is just a drag.......

I got the official PS mag once, Woot1 15 demo's!

Installed 2 and thought....... Pooh! what a ball ache!

How can we get a Move game from PSN if we cannot access PSN with firmware version 3.41? I would like to try out Flight Control HD, but cannot access PSN now.
