Playing the waiting game?

I'm curious as to how many are taking a somewhat cautious 'wait and see' approach to jailbreaking.
I ordered a Teensy when the news broke. However, I am on 3.15 firmware and own nearly all the PS3 exclusives so getting my groove on is not imperative.
I'm mainly concerned about;
- backup manager properly stealthed
- 'Other OS' restoration or 3.15 compatibility
- offline ability to update games
- Sony's countermeasures and subsequent bannings
How about everyone else?

I'm fortunate to have a Palm Pre. I've successfully booted the PS3 to the point where I can install the Backup Manager and stopped there. Until we see how Sony reacts and the community responds (the typical cat and mouse game), I won't go risking another banned console.
So to answer your question, I'm waiting -- at least until I get anxious and break my own vow...

Well I'm glad I waited given the recent progress. Seems like we will be able to edit/remove the list of games played that is sent to Sony, so backup manager and other homebrew will be able to be stealthed and hopefully avoid getting banned just for playing offline

I'm patient and holding off for now. Besides, I'm shopping for a spare PS3 to use for this hack anyhow.
HYBRID MAN!

what are other implications of getting banned, aside from no online gaming and no psn access?

Nothing really. Legally I don't think they can brick your machine.
I just don't want to lose my paid for PSN games.
