Is it possible to Play PAL Game RIPS on a NTSC PS3..??
Yes.
I've got an NTSC PS3 and I live in the UK. My PAL games work fine.
I believe the PS3 is a region free system itself. Any console supports both NTSC and PAL games.
Yea the system is region free so all ps3 games from any country will play in it.
They main thing with games from another region was I think that some of the DLC was region lock for some games.
But with a ripped game it should not matter.
Games are free region .
Games are indeed region free. However, if you're still using a SDTV, certain PAL games may not display correctly or at all on your NTSC set.
Is there some kinda quirk with playing PAL Game BACKUPS on a NTSC PS3 that requires you to have a DISC in your PS3 to play the PAL BACKUPS..??
I've tried 3 PAL Games so far and all of which will only work if a DISC is in the PS3..
* Little Big Planet - PAL
* Grand Theft Auto IV - PAL
* Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From Liberty City - PAL
According to the GAME Compatibility Charts there is no mention of needing a DISC in your PS3 to play these Games..?

Im using this method to run the BACKUPS from a USB HDD - Smallloader-Configuratatator

And I'm using a RockBox Sansa E280 with PSGroove from here:

Anybody Know what the deal is on this..?
Yes but the voices will have a British accent![]()
