I am new to this and I have ps3 break with 3.50 spoofing. I was going to try to play a backed up game online and it keeps telling me that I have to update. I have heard there is a way around this. IF so is there a simple youtube video or tutorial. And is it safe to do?

It doesn't hurt to update your games online. I'm talking about patches/updates but not about playing on PSN with games. That's gonna be a big debate in the coming days ahead. Oh! I guess you're talking about a firmware update instead of game update, right?

It would help if you are "new" at this to actually spend some time reading threads rather than making posts like this one right away.

Other people might not be so nice to you as these gentleman were.

I have been reading on here for almost a month. and to say the least the more I read the more confused i get. A simple no it isnt possible to play multiplayer on games that are backed up would be just great. Or a simple bit of direction would be great as well. I do understand that people that have been doing this for along time get aggravated with petty questions like mine, but you were a newbie at one point also.

Well for someone who has been reading on here for a month, you must not be able to read then. Your question has been asked about 500 times and all with the same answer.

I rarely post on here because I am busy reading information and soaking up knowledge so when i do have to post I know what I am talking about.

Posting newbie questions that have been asked 100000 times will get you flamed off the boards and possibly banned.

    Think twice about that.

The advanced search function on here works awesome, try using it next time.
