Play PS2 Games from Internal HDD?
Play PS2 Games from Internal HDD? –

I was wondering if it's possible to play PS2 games from the Internal hard drive? I have a LOT of PS2 Games and I'm getting used to not having to put disks into my PS3 to play the games, is it possible to back-up the PS2 Games to the Internal HDD and use a BM (i currently use MultiMan) to play them. Main games are: Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Final Fantasy X & X-2.
Thanks for any help

It's not possible yet because when you boot a PS2 game it takes the PS3 out of jailbroke mode, so the backup manager no longer can remap the bluray drive to a folder of your choosing. You can use comgenies awesome file manager to backup the files for now, but you won't be able to play them.

I am currently working on bringing back PS2 Backups into Multiman.

Why is this thread still open? It's a waste of space.

Not really, it's a discussion... one that has a simple answer (No, not unless you buy the Cobra device - or wait for jaicraB's CFW - or wait and see if MateoGodlike has anything to offer) but still a discussion
