i'm trying to undestand which metod are using sony to ban consolle (had notice of 2 consolle atm)

at the moment i'm on psn and didn't get ban also if playing online (cod mw3 - tekken6 etc etc) using 4.21 REbug REX.

i start to think the "why" of the ban and for now i had some idea.

the 2 consolle banned that i had notice was on 3.55 both using psninja after select game in MM and before access to psn. (so maybe sony check ps3flash for file..so low firmware = low feature of firmware = less file = ban.)

i didn't get ban..then starting thinking about why

1) rebug firmware maybe got some "debug unit file" so for sony server u got a debug unit?
2) just lucky
3) using psninja.

i'm not an exp dev or something like god.
just trying to have more info about the ban hammer just to prevent it.



now if u banned pls tell me which fw u was running and if u was using psninja or something to "prevent"

DESCLAIMER: pls don't insult me for bad english or for fools ideas. i'm only try to get a full view of ban hammer situation for all cfw users thank's for u help.

I have yet to see any concrete proof that they are banning anyone yet. Im on E3 4.30 CFW and can sign in and play online (except for black ops 2)

same for me, but i got 2 people on an italian forum (moddingstudio dot com) that got ban with 3.55 kmeaw + sen enabler (1 played with BO2, the other no.)

I got banned on 3.55 KMEAW and playing BLOPS 2 online about 3 times, totalling roughly an hour.

Sony said the ban was due to circumvention techniques noted from the console.

I lost a 5 year account (banned) and the console is banned too

oh bro, i'm sorry for you, btw this means that for now i have notice about 3 consolle 3.55 banned..so maybe sony are attacking lower cfw..

Hi m8, theres still hope for you, just change yore mac adress and create a new psn account, try to find a legit one and youll be unbanned!

How would ya go about doing that? What if its a wrong mac? What if you grab some ones elses? Who is screwed you or them?

how to **** do you change your mac address on ur ps3? how do you find one?

I dont think you can unless you change that ethernet card for a new one. , unless we can spoof it .. maybe soon but I know nothing for this i only remember my psp could spoof mac adress

EDIT: well with a quick google search on ps3 mac adress changing i found out you can change it http://www.ps3hax.net/2011/10/releas...s-mac-address/ however I cannot say it works cus I havent tryed.

Yes you can requires downgrading again but you can.
