Hi, I'm able to transfer files from my PS3 to PC using Filezilla but not the other way around. Can anyone please tell me why is this happening? I'm using Blackbox 1.1b and I'm transferring via an ethernet cable. Thank you.

I'm not connected to a router. I only have a PC, PS3 and an ethernet cable. When I connect them using the cable, I go to Network and Sharing center, under "view your active networks" I configure the Ipv4 of the pc to 192.168.1.1, and the ip of the ps3 is configured to 192.168.1.2. I can download files from the ps3 to pc but I'm not succeeding in uploading from my pc to ps3.

If you're running wireless you don't need to do what I'm doing. Just go to the blackbox application on your ps3, copy the ip it gives into filezilla with port number 21 and connect. Of course your PS3 should be also connected to the same wireless network.
