So.

My question is.

Wend the ps3 reboot with the "mod Chip" "usbkey" the ps3 do some.

Can we have a firmware patched with the "some"

or

why we don't have a cable from a pc to the ps3 by "usb" doing the same, like the "mode chip"

the "Pc"Freedom, we all have a PC. so.....

Just a Question?

custom fw is a long way off.

you will never be able to use a pc to jailbreak the ps3

To answer your question more consicely, the PC hardware is designed and built to be used as a HOST machine. The dongle acts as a SLAVE device and is able to push code to the PS3 in a certain way.

PC USB cannot send the required hex information to the PS3 USB the same as the USB dongle can as it's not equipped the same way.

This question has been asked many times, and if it would be possible than it would've been done already. As Xeauron said, the PC usb drivers are made to work in host mode, if we would ever want this to be able than someone would have to write usb slave drivers which is just too much of a hassle.
