Payloads??

Hi I was wondering about payloads, do we have to change them for certain games each time we play them or would just the one for example 'Hermes' do the trick.

Am getting an e3 card reader and am unsure if I will be needing to do different things to get each game working. Seems a lot of hassle for someone like me who if im honest is finding it a struggle to learn and take all the stuff in lol I think I know what im doing then I read something else I have to do and learn how to do it

Either use Hermes v4 or PL3 NUN (No_unauth) and you'll be fine.

Okay thank you. Was just a bit confused since when checking games on the compatibility site and each games says working with different payloads so I thought i would need to change all the time to meet that games requirements

The E3 reader has both payloads avalible. With no microsd inserted it will use hermes payload and with an sd inserted it will use pl3. Some games only work with hermes others will only work with pl3 but htese titles are few and far between. Nail'd is the only game I must use pl3 for the rest I have all work with hermes.

Sweet that dnt sound to complicated lol im glad. Will the hermes payload be easy to upgrade to its latest version. Im guessing by the time my e3 reader comes in a few weeks there will be a new version of hermes

Yes it is the latest and maybe last hermes payload and the most recent pl3 as well.

k cool. one last thing if you can answer it, can I just leave the e3 card in at all times to save loosing anything like backup manager
