    Hi guys!

Using kmeaw 3.55 & multiman. Installable packages get listed double times on the related XMB menu. That's when I plug a usb device with an installable package, or after I use a feature in multiman like the 'update' feature.

This also applies when I'm just updating a game from the net, with no USB device attached.

I was unable to find any info on the net but I know this is a known problem.
Someone with good experience on PS3 internals may figure out the cause or point what to check.

    Any ideas?

I know on my mac, since it makes a index of the file in its respective location, it'll show up twice on the PS3. Do any of them fail while the others work?

Oh, forgot to state, never seen one failed during my 10-20 installations. And I'm sure I tried both from the top group and the bottom group. That is how packages are listed btw; duplicates get listed after the first listing like, a1 b1 c1 a2 b2 c2.

    Thanks for your reply master.

multiMAN mount the folder in which the update is downloaded in turn you'll see double listings of the same file, I've also noticed that sometimes just the payload will mount the USB which will also double list same file. Hope this clears it up a little for you (double listings just happen ever so often)

    Thanks bitsbubba!

That clears up a lot. Basically I wanted to fix if there was something wrong in the system, eventhough it works well. So, nice to know it's that common and simple.

I'll ask deank about it, maybe it's not necessary to mount the update folder in all cases.

    Thanks again
