    Hello.

    I would like to know, which of these 3 are the best.

    P3Go GT Break:
    Powered with 32bit 500M processor;
    A whooping 128MB of programmable flash memory;
    Loaded with a stunning 16MB SDRAM of memory;
    microSDHC slot – Support upgrade without keys;
    P3Go GT-break dongle is future proof with expansion port;
    Support starting game with microSD card;
    Luxury material, bilateral protecting circuit to support plug-and-play function and protect your lovely device.

    Xplain:
    Upgradable - Yes
    Programming Tool - Yes
    Flash Memory - 128K
    SRAM - 8MB

    X3MAX:
    Upgradable - Yes
    Programming Tool - Yes
    Flash Memory - 128K
    SRAM - 16K

    Xplain and X3MAX is very good to flash the devboard with whatever we want, like Hex's files.
    P3Go GT Break have more programmable flash memory, more processor and more SDRAM of memory. But don't have an option to flash the devboard.

    So, what you guy's recommend? The price is not a problem.

    Thanks.

    I dont see any reviews on the new X3Max and P3Go...so its hard to really say until there are real reviews of the product that puts the dongle through all the tests.

    isn't the x3max the one where you can load ANY hex file with their software? plus it has that microSD slot.

    dude, my fingers are breaking typing this, but i would support the x3max... as dead-set as i am against clones, this is seriously a high-quality product here. the software is great, plus the quality of the clone is superb.

    i hate promoting a clone, but if you must, get the x3max (unless i'm wrong and the software that accepts any hex is the p3go). you catch my drift though, i'm sure.

    Yep, it accepts any hex file. I've been helping a user here with the process of flashing it, etc. We tried a Teensy 2.0++ and a XPLAIN hex, and both worked just fine. That's pretty f'n rad if you ask me. I'm an XPLAIN user myself, and really love the board because of it's flexibility, but that's just me.

    The any hex file is relative. They have an generic flash firmware you need to flash before you use any hexes.

    From what i gues, this generic firmware takes out the payloads and uses them it self.

    So if there is any new structure of the payloads, this feature would be broken.
    This is almost the same as Eclips3 import any hex function, it can break and it will!

    So only the xplain is a true dev board.

    Yep. X3Max should have been here early in the week but CanadaPost blows chunks! Even if sender was to pay for "express" or "priority" mail for fast delivery, according to post office "its not guaranteed". So whats the point of paying extra for the service if its not guaranteed? So now the review is postponed a week or so.

    P3Go is probably in the mail..hopefully. Sent another email to find out status.

    So has everyone accepted to not use the PSN if they have a modded PS3?

    I've been an 360 guy for a few years now with multiple consoles and like the fact that a modded console can go online. only reason i bought ps3 is because i miss the online play and i dont like paying for xbox live.
