Hi Guys,
This is my first post and still learning on JB my ps3 etc hope someone can answer few questions for me which is confusing me.
I just received my p3go yesterday and few things is confusing me. Firstly before i received my p3go i was using ipod with psgroove. What i noticed with that is once i have JB my PS3 i could unplug it and same time put the ps3 on standby come back and it will still work Jailborken.
With p3go i notice this is not the case... could someone confirm what i should expect and whether it would work once my ps3 goes to standby?
Also do i need this plugged in all the time as it is hard when i want to play via external drive and move with camera.
Thanks

You don't need it plugged in once the JB is executed, you can remove it and it will work fine. But if you reset the PS3 then the payload clears and you need to reset power/plug in again... no idea what you mean by stand-by though.

ok thanks. I will get home and try to see if that works as i noticed i had issues if i took the dongle out.
By standby i mean turn off the ps3 but leave it on in mains.

lol.
let try explaining again... or ok is this possible.
I do a jailbreak... then i take the usb jailbreak out. - we saying this should be ok.
I play my game etc and then i decide i have had enuff and turn it off, not switched off from the back or mains plug, just on standby i.e. we can see the red light on it.
If i go back will JB still be there or not?
Will this be same with psgroove/freedom with ipod too?
Thanks

There is nothing as standby on the PS3 its just off and on- not like hybernate/ standby on Windows.
You'll have to use JB each time u switch off the unit.

actually when the red light is on in front, the PS3 is off, but it is also considered standby as is most cases on most electronics. they are in a stand by mode (sleep mode) waiting for a signal from a remote control, and no from stand by mode you will still need to hard power (main) off then re-JB the console in any case from any JB device
