PS3break v1 is a clone and cannot be upgrades via usb but PS3yes can be i think .check the PS3Yes thread.
i recommend teensy 2.0 they will have enough for a few days, cheaper than any clone. They are very well supported and extremely easy to update.

Also id recommend P3Free as they have their own section in this forum. Seems to be one of the cheapest clones under $25. I personally have not tried it, but it seems to be great from others minus the very early adopters who didn't get BTL.

P3Free is a good option (they have a support forum here on PSX-Scene), however, just be careful with what version you're purchasing because the initial release could not be upgraded without a programmer.
Aside from that, I'd definitely avoid PS3Break, it's had a lot of negative publicity after its chip was found to be changed from ATMEL to PIC without buyers knowledge. Also there seems to be a lot of clones of the PS3Break floating around too. The PS3Yes! also seems to be a good option (I think it's a bit more expensive than the P3Free) and appears to have pretty decent support on its website. So all in all go for either P3Free or PS3Yes! for cheap solutions, otherwise there are always more pricey options which do the same thing lol...
Edit: sorry forgot to mention websites, try http://www.volumerates.com/ or http://lightake.com/ for the best prices.

Deymon . . . I was wondering too and after 5 days of reading (wholly crap) I went with the ps3yes . . .there is a guy in here who got one and did a review on it . . Kinda sold me in it after reading it . . . I'll post my thoughts on it once I get it in (ordered today) . . .
What you think of PS3Key and P3HUB ?
well ps3break ... it is generally ok i guess for the 1.1 version
if u need it with a usb hub, p3hub is a good idea
i have a ps3break, PIC un-upgradeable version. but i kindal like it. it works good and it is blue, looks good
i wont need one of those boards cos i have no interest in anything else except for ps3 Jailbreaking. plus its ugly (sorry folks, honest opinion)
p3free and ps3key seem to have good support. not sure what happened to the original ps jailbreak though.
I would prefer the ps3key as it seems good -- upcoming x3max is cool too
Acekard.ca has ps3key for $54 with free shipping. Ps3break seems populate but with update issues -- so ps3key since it out in the market now!
Just a warning to all reading this read, if you guys haven't seen the news about macran's upcoming Linux OS for the PS3 have another think through which AVR dongle you want to buy. The reason for this is, that you need more than 64KB of memory to run/install his Linux OS, however, virtually all the ones currently available have either 16/32KB with the exception to x3Max. Of course if you aren't too keen then don't worry!
@phistyle: P3Free does seem to have good support and best of all it's on these forums :P. In terms of build quality though, the PS3Yes! looks better...Price-wise, I don't think they're too different (i.e. I'm pretty sure it's like a $5 difference).
