I had the same question, but i went with an external, as most games work great... if you have a walmart where u are at i got a seagate 1.5tb for $70 plus tax, and almost a week now and no problems at all, and i have played for hours and it never has froze or anything in a game.. and if need be get a 500gig internal for those pesky 4b file games.. hope this helps ohh and the internal u have listed wont work... its a 3.5" and has to be a 2.5" and 9.5mm or a 12.5 mm with some work... the biggest i have seenin a ps3 internally is 1tb, but some things had to happen to make it work

ahhh! stay away from those drives, they are shit, i had one too, it worked great till i got to around 500gb of storage, then it started droping connection, and transfering files over really slow, and it would randomly click
    :/

newegg/amazon/buy.com etc all has terrrrible reviews

i would get a samsung spinpoint f3 personaly.

i went with an internal as i had a 500GB laptop drive sitting around.

but if u want an external, dont buy one, but a drive and an enclosure.

    i would suggest a samsung f4eg
    Newegg.com - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 HD204UI 2TB 5400 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

and a good enclosure that is usb and esata
Newegg.com - Rosewill RX35-AT-SC SLV Full Aluminum Cover, Metal Tray 3.5" Silver USB2.0 & eSATA External Enclosure

note that rosewill is good for enclosures and nearly nothing else, and that u will need an ac adapter for a 3.5"drive and that u want 5400 rpm as the speed dose not matter much (but they are just as fast as a 7200 for throughput) and the 5400 makes less heat so its better for use with enclosures.

and by building your own u know that u have a good drive and not an older drive, an unreliable POS like a seagate or any 1.5TB drive and its easily changed/upgraded.

i dont really see why u would need more than say 500GB though so i would go internal with a WD blue 2.5," but dont get something like a 1TB as they are taller than standard.
