If you absolutely insist on being on the latest official firmware, at least sell your CFW PS3 to someone who will utilize its capabilities and then go buy yourself a brand new PS3 console at you favorite retail store. You can easily sell your 3.55 CFW console for the same or more than what it will cost you to go buy a brand new console. It's a win win situation for everyone.
