is it ok to format hard drive with kmeaw cfw on it, just need to be sure

i need to format my hard drive as before i put kmeaw cfw on it i had linux and didnt format my drive so i need the space, but want to be sure i wont brick it or anything wich im allmost positive it wont but want to be 100% sure, ive backed up game saves to usb and 2 backup to my laptop so am pretty much ready to go just need some confirmation

Why don't you just go back to OFW just to make sure you don't have any issues? Anyway, question has been asked before. Please search next time.
