OFW 3.55..update 3.56 req'd for Game

im running Gaia 2.05 worked great for backin up my assasins creed.. but when i rented mortal kombat and it wants to update my console to 3.56... how do i bypass this...

I assume you are running 3.55 CFW. If so, go to the PS3 Collection link in my sig, and look for the REBUG section. Then look for the 3.60 Spoofer. After you run that, your system will not ask you to update. As for getting the game to work, you could try an official update, or something else. I have not tried this game yet for PS3.

While there check out the backup managers because you need a new one (Gaia is dead let it R.I.P.)

i tryed the 3.6 v1.1 spoofer.. i get 80010017 error...i will try 3.56 spoofer now..

Run the game with either multiMAN or Rogero which will change the PARAM.SFO to read 3.55, like I said Gaia is dead! let it rest in peace

yes you can, also if memory serves me right MK9 has a fix pkg (EBOOT etc..)

I believe I heard something about that as well.

To make your own fixes. Follow the links in our sigs, and look for EBOOTS: Modded, under WANT MOREz. It is pretty easy to do with deank's ebootFIX

Or, google it "CFW 3.55 Mortal Kombat". I like making my own files.
